The Stefan Voda hospital was quarantined and all coronavirus-infected patients were transferred to Chisinau, Minister of Health Viorica Dumbrăveanu announced on April 3. 

"The decision to isolate the Stefan Voda hospital was made last night. The district hospital in Soroca remains functional given it's adequately equipped", minister said. 

57 people tested positive for COVID-19 (one death) in the Stefan Voda district.  

In the Soroca district: 71 people including 27 doctors contracted COVID-19.
