Prime Minister Ion Chicu urged parishioners to avoid visiting the church during this period and to pray at home. 

After the meeting of the Single Command Center for managing the COVID-19 pandemic, he announced Moldova recorded 161 new cases of coronavirus infection. The total number of confirmed cases reaches 752 (29 recovered patients, 12 deaths). 

42 cases were detected in Soroca, 30 cases in Ștefan Vodă. Totally there are 226 coronavirus-infected patients in these two districts including 21 doctors in Ștefan Vodă and 25 doctors in Soroca.
