Supreme Court of Justice to partly impose remote working regime due to coronavirus
The Supreme Court of Justice will work in a special regime after an employee of the court contracted COVID-19. A provision to this effect was signed by the interim president of the SCJ, Vladimir Timofti.
According to the decision, only employees who are strictly necessary for the functioning of the institution will be present at work while the others will work from home.
The court hearings of the Criminal College of the Supreme Court of Justice, as well as the pronouncing of the motivated decisions on the criminal cases fixed for the date of 08 - 13 June 2020 are countermanded.
In the case of court hearings set for examination with the presence of the parties, access will be allowed only after the registration of identification data and on the basis of summons.
At the same time, the access of third parties to the Court will be limited.
