Two employees of the Secretariat of the Parliament tested positive for COVID-19. According to a press release, they do not show symptoms and are monitored at home at the indications of the family doctor.

Parliament employees who have been in direct contact with coronavirus-infected persons are also being tested and self quarantine at home.

In this context, the Secretariat of the Parliament mentions that the institution undertakes all measures of protection and safety at work in accordance with the established sanitary norms.

Previously, MPs Eugeniu Nichiforciuc, Vladimir Mîzdrenco and Arina Spătaru, three employees of the Legislative Secretariat and a MP's assistant contracted COVID-19.
