The amendments that provide for a 30 percent increase in salaries for employees in the medical system from September 1 have entered into force. The topic was discussed during a visit of President Igor Dodon to the district hospital in Hincesti. The head of state thanked the doctors for their efforts in tackling the pandemic and handed out diplomas to the best employees.

According to a communiqué, there are 13 coronavirus-infected patients who are being treated at this hospital. 

Staff crisis is reported to be a painful problem in the institution. 

Although the staff of the hospital provides 455 employees, currently only 380 people are working. The hospital has a capacity of 230 beds.

During his visit to Hâncești, Igor Dodon visited an agricultural enterprise, which cultivates corn on an area of 750 hectares and fodder crops on 300 hectares. The head of state spoke to farmers about the launch of a large-scale program to support the field in Moldova.
