Experts about Dodon and Sandu avoiding electoral debates before elections
The decision of Maia Sandu and Igor Dodon not to participate in the electoral debates before the presidential elections was commented by some experts, in a survey conducted by the company Intelligent Data.
While some experts say this is a "wrong tactic" that "denotes a lack of political culture" and "disrespect for the electorate", others believe they will take part in debates in the second round.
"It's an explicable tactic. They don't want to allow candidates with tiny chances to rise to their level."
At the same time, some experts mentioned that this way the candidates avoid awkward situations.
"They are weak in the debates because they realize they have failed to do anything for the country."
"Avoid answering multiple awkward questions."
The survey was conducted between October 20-24. 22 experts responded to the survey.
