20 tons of Moldovan plums have not been sold on Russian markets. The fruits were destroyed at customs by health inspectors, who said they found quarantine items.

According to the Rosselhoznadzor service, during the examination of the batch of fresh plums, a quarantine object was found - the Eastern Moth (Grapholita molesta Busck).

The infected products were destroyed under the control of the Rosselhoznadzor management. 

PUBLIKA.MA reminds that at the end of September, the Russian inspectors destroyed another 20 tons of Moldovan plums in customs.
