40 children from deprived families in Chisinau received Santa Claus's gifts at Christmas Fair
More than 40 children from deprived families in Chisinau enjoyed the Christmas Fair organized by the Government where they received gifts from Santa Claus.
The fun started at the ice rink.
"This is my first time. It cheers me up. It's very beautiful".
"I was afraid my legs would bend. But everything is alright now."
Then the kids went to the carousel. The most awaited moment was the Santa Claus meeting. The children chased the most beloved grandfather.
"I never met the Santa Claus before. I love him so much".
"This is the last group of children as the lessons will start tomorrow. The new semester is coming which motivates everybody", said Ştefan Rotaru, representative of the Concordia Association.
"In the coming days, we are expecting groups of children for whom we will have the same program and try to create a better mood," said Alexandru Rusu, administrator of the Christmas House Fair.
Until now, the Christmas house fair has been visited by about 5,000 children from disadvantaged families. All expenses are borne by the Government.
