50 young people vow loyalty to Homeland and are assigned as future prison guards in Moldova.
They have chosen a stressful and risk-taking job. About 50 young people will shortly be assigned as guards in Moldova's prisons. After two months of study at the Training Center of the Department of Penitentiary Institutions, the students took the oath. The ceremony took place at the "Eternity" Memorial Complex.
The leadership of the Department of Penitentiary Institutions and the representatives of the Ministry of Justice congratulated the graduates.
"I want to urge you to perform your tasks with responsibility, courage, rigor and humanity," Deputy Justice Minister, Eduard Serbenco, said.
"The basic value of the penitentiary system is the guardian, and we give a very big importance to this foundation. Today, as the 49 graduates are taking the oath, we think they are totally ready to begin their activity in the penitentiary institutions," Director of the Department of Penitentiary Institutions, Aureliu Suhan, added.
Also, a religious service was held during the ceremony.
The penitentiary system of Moldova currently employs about three thousand people.
