6.000 garbage bags gathered within sanitation campaign launched in Capital

Six thousand bags of garbage were gathered by volunteers during the sanitation campaign, organized yesterday in the rivers valleys of the Capital.
In a press release of the City Hall it is stated that more than 1,500 people responded to the call of the municipality. They cleaned the valley of Bâc, but also several rivers crossing the Capital.
The event was attended by economic agents, civic activists, pupils, as well as residents in the districts where the action was organized.
Today, sanitation works are organized in the "La Izvor" park in the Sculeni neighborhood. The organizers provided the garbage bags and gloves to the volunteers.
