The border policemen within the Iasi Boder Sector seized 8.000 packs of cigarettes that should have been smuggled. The goods were worth 92.750 RON and should have been delivered to Romania.

On September 9, at 10:10, the policemen noticed many persons who had big parcels. They were stopped and the policemen started to check the parcels.

After unpacking the parcels, 160.000 cigarettes were revealed.
