A college from Chisinau organized an admission session even though it was illegal
The Ministry of Education informs the citizens that the Management and Business International College has no places for the admission session 2016. The reception of applications of candidates for this institution is considered as a breach of the Education Code, and the registered students are requested to take their applications from the college and to opt for other education institutions.
As a result of many requests from the deputies of the Moldovan Parliament and Chisinau Prosecutor’s Office, through an order issued by the Ministry of Education on 8 July 2016, the Ministry of Education has recommended to the Management and Business International College to apply for the authorization of the studies program by the National Agency of the Quality Assurance in the Professional Education (NAQAPE) before the limit period ends.
In the absence of College actions in this regard, the Ministry of Education has determined the Registration Plan for this institution with the performance and accreditation by the NAQAPE, mentioning that the reception of candidates in the absence of the admission plan, approved by the Minister of Education, is considered a breach of the Education Code and is illegal.
The Ministry of Education reminds that most of the technical professional education institutions, including the Management and Business International College, and their programs of study, have to be externally evaluated by the NAQAPE.
The main objective of the external evaluations is the enhancement and improvement of the quality in educations, in order to fulfill the necessities of the labor market by preparing the specialists, in accordance with the European standards.
NAQAPE was created in 2014, and on 13 April 2016 the Government has adopted the Methodology of external evaluations of the quality in order to authorize the provisional functioning and accreditation of the programs of study and technical professional education institutions and superior education institutions.
