Between October 19-27, the team of experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Ruben Atoyan, will hold online talks with the Moldvan authorities, from the IMF headquarters in Washington.

"The purpose of the mission is to carry out the regular exercise of collecting information on recent economic developments, to be informed about the implementation of the commitments undertaken in the context of the program agreed with the authorities at expert level, to be supported by the Extended Credit Facility (ECF) and the Extended Financing Mechanism (EFF), as well as to discuss the policies promoted by the authorities in order to maintain macroeconomic and budgetary stability, including in the context of the 2021 budget, ”according to the IMF statement.
