Carried alcohol without documents of origin. The driver is a 31 year old man from Cimislia.
According to the police, 200 bottles of cognac worth 22,000 lei were found after checks in the trunk of the car.
The driver admitted that he did not have alcohol-related documents and that he had brought him from the Transnistrian region to sell him on Floreşti district.
The drink has been raised and will be subject to expertise. If found guilty of illegal transportation of the cargo, the man is at risk of a fine from 3,000 to 9,000 lei.
