A newly-created specialized office to investigate rail, air, or sea transport accidents

Rail, air, or sea transport accidents will be investigated by the Bureau of Investigation, created by a Government decision.
The Bureau of Investigation is a central administrative authority, subordinated to the Government, specialized both in investigations and issuing safety recommendations.
In the process of conducting investigations, the Office will cooperate with the General Prosecutor's Office, the General Inspectorate of Police, the General Inspectorate of Border Police, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, as well as with the Security Authorities. The authority will be financed from the state budget within the limits of the approved annual allocations.
The decision to create the Bureau corresponds to the measures provided in the National Action Plan for the implementation of the Moldova-European Union Association Agreement.
