The flag of Abkhazia, the de facto sovereign state that is internationally recognized as an autonomous republic of Georgia, was arranged in Moscow, during the International Conference ”Role of Interaction between Factions of Political Parties and Blocs in Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of the CIS Countries“. 

As the event photo shows, this flag was displayed along with other official flags of several CIS member states. 

According to the Parliament of Moldova, Socialist MPs Vasile Bolea and Bogdan Țîrdea also participated in this event. 

The event was held for the second time, on the occasion of the 28th anniversary of the CIS, and was organized by the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova reports.
