Acted under Caramalac's indications on Vlad Plahotniuc's attempted assassination
The suspected of Vlad Plahotniuc's attempted assasination are on the accusation bench now. The criminal case was transmitted to the magistrates. The attorneys and the policemen presented new video and audio proofs that show the implication in this case. The authorities declared that the suspects acted under the Grigore Caramalac's (Bulgaru) indications.
According to the attorneys, last year, Grigore Caramalac appealed to a criminal group whose leader is Valerian Zabolotnii, a friend of Caramalac. He is the President of the International Fund of veteran sportsmen ''IFAVIS'' who added in the scheme Stepan Chirov, Dmitrii Sevcenko and Iurie Parhomenco.
''Knowing the fact that he won't be able to kill someone by himself, also, realizing that after the murder he will be also killed at Grigore Caramalac's indications, he took a partner, Alexandru Adamovici'', said Vitalie Busuioc, the deputy chief of PCCOCS.
Alexandru Adamovici is from Ukraine and has a criminal biography. He was judged many times, inclusively for murder. He also involved two men in the case. Those three came in Moldova to establish the target and the way they will act. Thus, they found two men who will commit the crime. Being helped by other three friends of Parhomenco, those came a few times in Chisinau, illegally passing the border from Ukraine. By the time, the members of the criminal group bought a car and found four grenade throwers, two guns, ammunition and masks. Shady Caramalac said he will pay 200 thousand USD for the murder of Plahotniuc.
''The person from Moscow doesn't know that he has some criminal cases opened on his name'', said Ion Iachimov, INI's chief.
The thief in law is internationally searched. His extradition was refused by the Russian authorities.
''Anyway, we will ask for his extradition on Republic of Moldova's territory'', said Vitalie Busuioc, deputy chief of PCCOCS.
The members of the scheme didn't like Caramalac's payment.
The criminal band entered in the Ukraine police's visor in October 2016, because of some misdemeanors committed in Moldova. The Ukraine authorities sent the information to the law enforcement agencies from Moldova.
''At the moment of receiving this information, we didn't know who are the offenders and who is the target'', said Busuioc.
After the searches, the police officers found a lot of arms.
''We found PMP guns, Kalasnikov gun, hunter guns and ammunition'', said Ion Iachimov.
The suspected are accused of: preparation for murder, illegally keeping of arms and ammunition, illegal passing of the border, illegally staying in a certain country. All of the suspected risk to be imprisoned. Eight people were detained in Chisinau and other nine in Ukraine.
