ACUM MPs are demanding the resignation of Defense Minister Victor Gaiciuc. Deputies accused the minister of praising the Donbas mercenaries and backed Russian aggression against Ukraine in a statement made earlier in public, challenging Ukraine's territorial integrity.

"The MPs will submit a motion against Defense Minister Victor Gaiciuc. His praise of the Donbas mercenaries fighting against the Ukrainian army which challenges the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine renders Victor Gaiciuc incompatible with the Government member", wrote Sergiu Litvinenco on his Facebook.
