Agents of General Police Inspectorate to receive financial incentives

The Government has approved at its meeting today, March 1st, a government decision to grant financial incentives to agents of the General Police Inspectorate subdivisions of the Interior Ministry.
The purpose of the project is building the capacity to combat corruption, penalize all infringements and rewarding employees' work performance.
Thus, the agents will receive financial incentives of 25% of the fines collected to the state budget processes in contravention examined.
In 2016, the agents of the General Inspectorate of Police filed more than 263,000 processes offenses, of whom about 228,000 were paid, amounting to 82.6 million lei.
