Two people aged 26 and 29 are being prosecuted for scams.
They misled dozens of domestic agricultural producers, led them to sign more contracts for the sale and purchase of cereals and deliberately disrespected their obligations.
The suspects acquired various agricultural products (rape, sunflower and forage wheat) and sold later, causing loss of over 7 million lei to the victims.
They used money for personal benefits: purchased agricultural equipment, luxury cars, and part of the money was invested in the construction of buildings or transferred to the bank accounts of enterprises registered in the names of the interposed persons.
The suspects were detained and subsequently, at the prosecutors' request, detained for a period of 30 days. The defendants are at risk from 8 to 15 years of imprisonment.
Research continues to determine all the circumstances.
