Firefighters showed civil protection applications in Nisporeni district. During yesterday, April 19, several practical exercises took place and the scenario of a massive earthquake unfolded.

As a result of the improvised earthquake, civil protection formations, as well as representatives of several institutions, have been tested for the right response in case of risk situations, but also for effective action in case of exceptional situations.

Here the responsible were trained in several situations, such as: evacuating children and kindergarten staff, rescuing secondary school students, providing medical first aid, and removing the victims from the ruins.

Firefighters and rescuers simulated traffic accidents, where decommissioning was required, but also fires which was extinguished.

For the actions to be effective, all the applications took place under the eyes of about 130 children of the educational institutions, but also of the district residents.

Moreover, they monitored the intervention actions of the rescue teams, as well as the civil protection races involved in the exercise.

The purpose of civil protection applications in Nisporeni District was to verify the preparedness of the officers, as well as to monitor the work of the commission for emergency rayon situations.

Such exercises take place in each district once every five years.
