Over 900 people complained to National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) last year for violating their rights. Fewer cases were recorded than in 2017, however, the same discontent remained.
Most people complain about incorrect billing and service quality. ANRE representatives argue that there could be higher petitions if people knew how to file complaints.
ANRE data shows that 155 complaints were made for the wrong invoices; 97 complaints for service quality and 80 cases for interruptions of energy, gas or water.
Consumers who believe that suppliers have failed to respect their rights may call the green line 08001 0008 or write a petition to ANRE.
