Ambassador Oleg Tulea handed the consular patent to the first Honorary Consulate of Republic of Moldova in Slovenia.

On January 30 at Ljubljana - Ambassador Oleg Tulea handed the consular patent to the Honorary Consul of our country in the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Rupnik, a businessman with extensive professional experience in the field.

Ambassador Oleg Tulea, during his visit to Ljubljana, handed the consular patent to Honorary Consul of our country to the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Rupnik, representative of the Slovenian business environment with extensive professional experience in the field. The event took place in the premises of the new consulate, located in the central area of the Slovenian Capital.

On this occasion, Zdravko Počivalšek, Minister of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia, and Sonja Šmuc, general manager of the Ljubljana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met. The visits aimed at presenting the new honorary consul of the Republic of Moldova as well as the ways of intensifying the Moldovan-Slovenian cooperation in the commercial-economic field.

The office of the honorary consulate will be officially inaugurated in Ljubljana in March this year.
