Strengthening relations between Republic of Moldova and Lower Austria were discussed during a meeting of Ambassador Victor Osipov with governor of Lower Austria, Johanna Mikl-Leitner.

The officials spoke of extending the bilateral economic cooperation, governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner accentuated the interest of Austrian companies to implement investment projects in Republic of Moldova, using the facilities offered by national authorities to foreign economic agents who wish to launch an enterprise in the free economic zone and industrial parks. Victor Osipov and Johanna Mikl-Leitner have exchanged opinions on the social and cultural bilateral cooperation, agreeing upon the organization of events with the participation of enterprises from both states.

The officials believe that an important role in realizing set aim for the collaboration in various fields between Republic of Moldova and Lower Austria will be facilitated by the work of the Honorary Consulate of our country in Sankt Pölten, that opened on January 26, 2018.
