Many of the children whose words were featured appear to have a rather cynical take on life despite their young age - like the one who said 'that's not how school works' when her father asked them if they had a good day.

Others already appreciate the finer things in life, like the child who told their parents they were most thankful for 'family, friends and WiFi.'
