Leader of Dignity and Truth Platform Party (PPDA) Andrei Nastase keeps carrying out his campaign for the Chisinau's Mayoralty after the Court of Appeal from Chisinau vetoed yesterday the decision of Judge Chisinau which invalidated two rounds of local elections during May 20 - June 3, 2018 in Chisinau municipality. 

"We are going ahead in this campaign to fight for the democracy in Chisinau. I have a moral obligation with the people who voted me. We need to go on the street on October 20 to confirm last year's victory. I urge you to stand by me and bloc ACUM", mentioned Andrei Nastase. 

On Tuesday, the Court of Appeal validated the result of 2018 local election in Chisinau municipality in which Andrei Nastase was elected as Mayor of Chisinau. Thus, he needed to choose between the position as candidate for this year's local elections and mayor elected in 2018. 

It should be mentioned that the mandate of mayor is due to expire when the general local election is held on October 20.
