Andrian Candu attends second inter-parliamentary summit between Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine
President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu, will take part in the second inter-parliamentary summit between Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Consolidation of regional cooperation and security, by developing collaboration with EU and NATO. The event takes place in Kiev.
At this reunion will be signed another document that will create parliamentary assemblies Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine. The mandate for singing the document was given to Andrian Candu through the decision taken by the permanent bureau. President of Moldova Parliament is accompanied by Head of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee, Violeta Ivanov and Head of the friendship group with Ukraine, Eugeniu Nichiforciuc.
The first inter-parliamentary summit between Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine took place on March 2 in Chisinau, when the three Presidents of the Parliament decided to join forces to promote a common defense and security policy.
The summit from Chisinau was organized in partnership with the Atlantic Council and spoke of issues tied to informational security, energy, defense, as well as regional economic growth. The event was attended by about 150 senior officials and international experts, including heads of the legislatures, MEPs and US Congress representatives.
