Andrian Candu: Consequences of Second World War should never be repeated
The victims of the Second World War were commemorated today in the Cathedral Square. The Democratic party from Moldova prepared a vast range of special events for the veterans and the visitors.
In the surrounding there was arranged a kitchen, where people could try soldiers' porridge.
Among the guests there were state officials, as Vlad Plahotniuc, the PDM leader who tried the soldiers' menu with the veterans, but also Andrian Candu and Pavel Filip.
In a Facebook message, Andrian Candu, the president of the Parliament declared that the consequences of the Second World War should never be repeated, but the day of May 9 should remind us of the heroes who made the democratic Europe.
