Andrian Candu on convening of Supreme Security Council: We don't have any official information
Seven Moldovan localities voted for union with Romania last week in the context of 159th anniversary of the Union of Romanian Principalities.
The first locality to sign the statement was the Parcova commune in Edinet district, northern Moldova. Four other localities followed the signature were in the center and southern Moldova.
Quickly after that, Moldovan President Igor Dodon, announced to convene the Supreme Security Council (CSS) to tackle those actions which, in the president's view, were against the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
At the meeting with the chairmen of the Standing Parliamentary Committees, Andrian Candu said he had no official information, he would have declaration only after discussing this topic.
"I only saw our president's declaration regarding the Convening of the Supreme Security Council on the press. I have not received any information on official channels. As soon as I receive exact information officially, we'll examine this Council and of course, I'll attend it. Personally I don't think such issues need to be discussed at the Security Council while there are many other current topics. We will come up with proposals and we'll have comments after that", said Andrian Candu.
