Andrian Candu received the medal of honor of Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation
President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu received the medal of honor of Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC). The ceremony took place today, within the summit of Parliament Presidents of BSEC member states, organized to mark the 25th anniversary of PABSEC.
The distinction awarded by PABSEC Secretary-General, Asaf Hajiyev, represents the highest form of encouragement for citizens from BSEC member states, being offered to Presidents of Parliaments of PABSEC member states for a remarkable contribution to the assembly.
During the Summit held in Istanbul, President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu has met with Bulgarian National Assembly President, Tsveta Karaiancheva, President of the Senate of Romania, Călin Popescu-Tariceanu and Chairperson of the Parliatment of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze. The trilateral assembly Republic of Moldova - Ukraine - Georgia was discussed during the meeting with Irakli Kobakhidze.
This year, PABSEC marks its 25th anniversary. PABSEC was established in 1993, in Istanbul, by representatives of 9 Parliaments - Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
