President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu, discussed the main actions taken to develop the country with mayors, local councilmen and entrepreneurs from Cahul and Cantemir.

The official spoke of infrastructure projects, currently being unfolded, presented business environment opportunities and social programs, as well as key points in the local authorities' activity.

According to President of Moldovan Parliament, one of the most ambitious project, currently being unfolded, is rehabilitation of roads from all districts of Moldova.

"Works in Cahul and Cantemir will begin in 1-2 weeks and will finish by autumn. At the same time, the road going around Comrat will also be reconstructed, as well as the road going to Giurgiulești" Andrian Candu said.

Andrian Cand spoke with local authorities and entrepreneurs of the reform's effects and main benefits offered by simplifying the procedure and business activity, elimination of excessive bureaucracy and reducing the number of control bodies. The problem of labor force was also discussed, as well as actions taken to stimulate, supplement and keep professionals in the country. Here were analyzed projects such as meal tickets, First House project, state subventions for job creation and Chisinau Arena.

Participants mentioned various local problems and were interested in export to new markets, investment projects and actions taken to stimulate employers from local authorities.

The meeting was attended by deputies, leaders of Cahul and Cantemir districts, mayors and local councilmen, entrepreneurs and representatives of Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Agency for Interventions and Payments in Agriculture and other Governmental agencies. Officials answered questions and will following come up with solutions to solve every identified issue.
