Andrian Candu: The size of the country does not matter, it only matters that we have good people
The size of the country does not matter, it only matters that we have good and beautiful people. This was the message of the Parliament speaker, Andrian Candu, given in the Great National Assembly Square for the Independence Day of Moldova.
“I am full of emotions, with good feelings, but also sadness, sadness for those who sacrificed their lives, have sacrificed themselves so that we could celebrate this day. There are emotions and thoughts. What matters is that we have good and beautiful people, I wish to all happy anniversary, and may God help us in everything we do. I wish a lot of welfare to our citizens” said Candu.
Regarding the few protests which took place in the National Assembly Square on Independence Day, the chief of the Legislative have declared: “All have the right to protest, but I do not understand how can someone protest when are presenting honors, the hymn is sung, and are commemorated the persons who gave their lives so that we could celebrate today the independence. The parties that came today to protest do not have values.”
