Andrian Candu was decorated with the highest distinction of the Chamber of Deputies from the Legislature of Romania, the Parliament's Column. The decoration was handed to her during the meeting with the Senate leader, Calin Popescu Tariceanu, but also with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Liviu Dragnea.

Candu thanked his counterparts in the neighboring country for the support given to our country in the European way, but also for the projects that have been carried out in the last years with the support of the Romanian Government.

The official stressed the importance of developing energy interconnection projects and investments for the development of the Republic of Moldova.

The President of the Parliament invited the members of the Romanian legislature to participate in the international election observation missions next year.

At the end of the meeting, Andrian Candu handed Calin Popescu Tariceanu and Liviu Dragnea Democracy Medal for the efficient collaboration between the two Parliaments.
