Easing coronavirus restrictions would be risky and ignoring the recommendations could worsen the epidemiological situation in the country. This week saw a significant increase in the number of COVID-19 cases compared to last week. Thus, the contamination rate also increased by almost two percent.

In this context, the head of National Agency for Public Health (ANSP) reiterated that it is not appropriate to celebrate Radonitsa as there is a risk of increasing the number of coronavirus cases, and this could lead to the situation getting out of control. A final decision will be made later, depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation.
