Maia Laguta’s apartment in Chisinau has been robbed. The former presidential runner says the malefactors managed to steal just two memory sticks.

She says she was phoned by a neighbor who told her about the robbery.

“I managed to see all the chest drawers were opened, all the documents and the money were intact. Only two memory sticks were missing,” Maia Lagura has written on her Facebook page.

The police confirm the robbery, but yield no details.

Maia Laguta was among the nine presidential hopefuls managing to garner 10,712 votes.
