Authorities of four central districts join efforts to set up touristic route
Local authorities become more and more interested in promoting tourism. The administrations of four Moldovan central districts want to create a tourism route to attract visitors.
The project worth about 28 million lei envisages setting up an info center in Călărași town where the guests will receive information about places to see and how to get there.
The tourists will be able to hire bikes and special lanes will be created for that purpose. The History and Ethnography Museum from Călărași is to be revamped, as well as some roads leading touristic destinations.
Managers of touristic locales believe the number of visitors will be up 30 %.
"We have species of rare plants and animals living only in this Reservation. We proud we have many deer," said the manager of Plaiul Fagului reservation, Boris Curos.
The project will be implemented within 3 years, as 50,000 tourists are expected yearly.
