The babies and their mothers form the Edinet maternity had a surprise. They received gifts from the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc, Edelweuss, within the campaign ''A new life''.

Cristina Sugac, born a boy yesterday. Today, the woman was visited by her husband. The man brought her flowers, while the Edelweiss foundation brought them a set of products for the baby.

''Everything is necessary from the first days and the prices are very high. Definitely, we will need all these'', said Cristina Sugac.

The mother expected the gifts, said the doctors.

''Our hospital offered hundreds of useful things for the mothers. All the mothers know about this project and want to come in our hospital. They want to receive gifts'' said Margareta Conciar, nurse.

''Edelweiss foundation has a good reputation here. Previously, they installed a playground here. I think it is a good example for others'', declared Igor Nepeivoda, local adviser in Edinet.

 In Edinet, the campaign ''A new life'' started in April. By then, over 600 mothers received gidts.

''Vlad Plahotniuc's foundation, Edelweiss is always close to people, through its projects. We are glad we are close to those families in such important moments'', said Dorina Postu, project manager.

From the beginning of the project, Edelweiss distributed over 10 000 gifts in the whole country.
