Bad weather has taken hold throughout the country, and the yellow veneer code, which has entered into force, is causing more and more accidents.

In the village of Branza from Cahul district a truck arrived in a house. According to the images, the truck would have skidded out of the way and arrived instantly in a living room.

Fortunately, no one has suffered.

At the same time, no person would have suffered from preliminary information. 

In this context, the INP informs that at the moment Cahul - Giurgiulesti road has stopped the truck traffic for an hour because the carriage is covered with ice and it is difficult to travel . Patrol crews accompany car-operators that process the carriage with anti-skidding material.

INP asks drivers to avoid as much as possible the movement during that time on that road. Special attention is paid to heavy-duty cars, especially those not equipped for winter conditions.

Today, low rainfall will occur throughout the country in the form of snow and snow. On the roads there will be stumps. At the same time, the yellow code remains valid until January 25th.

Also in the neighboring country, Romania was issued an orange code of ice and ice deposits.  It entered into force today at 10 o'clock and will be valid until 14:00. Significant landings on large areas will be signaled.
