A restaurant from Bălți municipality was sanctioned with 6250 lei for non-compliant processing of personal data through the video surveillance system. 

Following investigations, the National Center for Personal Data Protection (NCPDP) identified many legal breaches regarding the protection of personal data. 

1.Failure to comply with the requirements regarding the security of personal data when processing them within the information systems of personal data;

2.Processing of personal data without notifying the control body in the field of processing of personal data;

3. Violation of the rules for the use of personal data. In this case, the court applied a contravention sanction in the form of a fine of 6250 lei.
