Better working conditions for police officers in Causeni. How does the inspectorate's office look after renovation
Policemen from Causeni will work today in better conditions. The building of the people of the law has been completely renovated. The cost of the works amounts to 2.7 million lei. 350 square meters of office space is furnished with modern furniture, wi-fi network and a kitchen.
Valentin Garba is a policeman in Causeni and in his old headquarters he shared with several colleagues a desk of a few square meters. Now things have changed.
"We have to be all in one office now, but now the office is big and bright", said Valentin Garba, sector inspector.
The new conditions benefit not only the police but also the citizens who will cross the threshold of the institution.
"Starting from the outside, with the pandus for people with disabilities or the elderly, it is possible to get in. If you see here there is a waiting room where there are waiting chairs, it is the office of the sector officer where people can be served without delay ", said Ion Gogu, Chief of Sector, police sector 1. from Causeni.
Local authorities say that this will increase citizens' confidence in the people of law.
"The police will have the opportunity to work more openly, more transparently with the citizens. They are qualified police officers have a very high professionalism", said Grigore Repesciuc, mayor of Causeni.
"With the construction of this building, more will be with those who need their services even more. We always have problems with them".
"I am very glad that this will be such a sector where we can approach and decide our questions from villages, towns and districts".
At the inauguration of the police sector was also the mother of Chief of the General Inspectorate of Police Alexandru Pinzari, who lives in Causeni.
"As it was, it does not even look like it", said Vera Pinzari, mother of the PGI head.
According to Alexandru Pinzari, the new sector will provide citizens with free and transparent access to quality police services.
"We want to implement the principles of community policing, which means a more friendly attitude, more to the needs of the citizens", said Alexandru Pinzari, head of the PGI.
Police Sector no. 1 in Causeni, which has 18 employees, was renovated with the support of the US Government within the framework of the Police Development Strategy. Two sectors in the capital and one of Sangerei district have been renovated through the same program. The next goal will be the police sector in Soroca.
