Two men and a 15 year old minor, were taken into custody for the suspicion of having stolen bicycles. According to the police, they took 5 bicycles from the Botanica sector of the capital.

The suspects were stealing bicycles which were left in the halls of apartment’s blocks or were tied to poles in yards. They were destroying the locks using a hammer and then would disappear into the night with the stolen goods.

Afterwards, the bicycles were sold.

Until this moment the police was able to locate only two of the stolen objects.

It was also made known that two of the suspects had already been taken into custody for similar acts.

If found guilty, the suspects risk a fine of up to 27 thousands lei, or up until 4 years in jail.
