Two spouses, 63 and 65, came to hospital with multiple burns after a gas cylinder burst. The incident occurred in Gangura village, Ialoveni district. Emergency services were alerted by a relative of the victims'visitors.

"Breach of safety and exploitation rules was the cause", said Silvia Vetcu, press officer IP Ialoveni.

According to doctors, both patients suffered burns on their face and arms. Doctors say the woman is in serious condition and the man in a stable condition.

Police investigate the case to determine all the circumstances.
