A small flying machine, a traumatic gun and cartridges for a hunting rifle were discovered during a raid at the homes of people suspected of illicit transportation of cigarettes from Moldova to Romania.

 According to Border Police officers, the searches were carried out at the homes of several Moldovan citizens with ages ranging between 25 and 50 years.

 Thus, at a sheepfold in the village of Moscovei in district of Cahul, a camouflaged small flying aircraft, similar to a moto-hang-glider, was discovered in an improvised warehouse. At the same time, in an apartment in the town of Cahul, a traumatic pistol and 15 cartridges for a hunting rifle were found. The weapons were improperly kept, the owners having violated the specific regime governing the use of weapons and civilian ammunition.

 All the discovered goods were confiscated and stored at the headquarters of the Cahul Border Police Sector, until the investigation is completed and the necessary legal measures are taken.
