Border Service employee detained by CNA and Anti-corruption prosecutors for receiving a 1 200 Euros bribe

A Border Service employee was detained by CNA and Anti-corruption prosecutors in a passive corruption folder. He is suspected of receiving 1 200 Euros from a citizen to deal a imported car from Germany.
According to the information, the whistle-blower would have introduce in the country a car 'Ford Transit', to deal it. Because he did not have the proper documents, he would have reached to a border employee who requested 1 200 Euros fr the service. The money transfer took place in a cafe of the Capital.
CNA started a criminal investigation on this case. If found guilty, the border employee risks from 3 to 7 years in jail, a 4 000 to 6 000 conventional units fine and deprivation to exert certain public positions from 5 to 10 years.
Since the beginning of the year, five border employees were searched for corruption.
