The men arrested for murdering a young man and injuring another with a gun in an apartment block from Botanica sector, were previously condemned.

According to prosecutors, the suspects risk a criminal file for illegal possession of firearm.

"So far, the investigation shows that those persons were previously condemned for similar crimes: hooliganism, armed robbery. The weapons used in crimes were owned illegally by the suspects" chief of Criminal Investigation Section of Botanica Police Inspectorate, Andrei Rău.

The tragedy took place on the night of 7th to 8th January, when a 25-year-old man passed away, while another 27-year-old was injured, after their neighbors shot them.

It all begun from a minor incident, which took place while the victims and harassers went out for a smoke.

The latter got angry when one of the young man spit and hit the man five floors lower.

The attackers grabbed their weapons, started the fight and opened fire.

The young man, who was celebrating his birthday, was taken to the ER. According to doctors, he required a surgery. While he is in a grave state, his life is under no danger.
