The National Village Museum in Bucharest hosts a special festival dedicated to local craftsmen and artisans this weekend, Romania-Insider reports.
The event, called “MestesugarFEST – RomaniaCreativa” National Arts and Crafts Fair, started on Friday, October 28, and will end on October 30.
Its program includes business workshops, music, dance and theater shows, movie screenings, and workshops for children.
However, the main event of the festival organized by the Economy Ministry is the craftsmen fair, which gathers some 150 local craftsmen and artisans. The exhibitors’ participation at the fair is free, as the Economy Ministry covers the costs of their transport and accommodation, reports local Agerpres.
The fair is open between 09:00 and 18:00. In addition to the shows, the event also includes five free courses for artisans and craftsmen.
