Burning Man celebrations continuing as festival enters its final days
Thousands of people camped out in the middle of the desert are refusing to let the party die as Burning Man heads into its final days for 2016, DailyMail informs.
More than 70,000 have made the voyage to Black Rock City in the middle of the Nevada desert for the mind-bending festival, which runs from August 28 to September 5 this year.
Among them on Wednesday was a woman wearing a white dress, complete with feathery headdress, flowing white cape and nearly knee-high platform boots, who was rolling across the desert on an electronic scooter.
Others were seen riding bikes through the streets of the temporary metropolis, while packs of party-goers clambered onto the art installations dotted around the festival.
Incredible aerials shots taken earlier in the week showed the horde of people sprawling out across the desert, with RVs, cars, tents and other forms of shelter littering the landscape.
This year's celebrity visitors include socialite Paris Hilton, 35, and British actress and model Cara Delevingne, 24, joining the growing ranks of stars who have made the trek to the festival.
The event, which this year has the theme 'da Vinci's workshop', is described as an 'annual experiment in temporary community dedicated to radical self-expression and radical self-reliance'.
