A batch of military equipment was discovered by the Security and Information Service, Custom Service and Prosecutor’s Office for Crime Control at the Leuseni custom.
The equipment did not dispose any origin documents and were found in a bus that delivered packages to Europe.
Following the check, it was established that the batch contained military uniforms, headsets, body armors, watches, flashlights and food in military package – all containing Russian inscriptions.
According to the police, military uniforms and accessories were most likely manufactured in the Russian Federation and introduced in our country through the Transnistrian region. According to a SIS press release, weapons were to reach Bratislava, Slovakia.
