Canal 2 gives up it's national frequency for TVR Moldova

The 'Telestar Company' decided to give up the national frequency on which is issued Canal 2.
In this context, it urged the Government and competent institutions of the Audiovisual sector for this national frequency to be returned to the Romanian television Society, the former owner of this frequency, to broadcast TVR-Moldova in the Republic of Moldova.The 'Telestar Media' Company decided this way because of the pressures upon the Canal 2 and Canal 3 TV channels, including those linked to the General Media Group.
Also, the Company announces that Canal 2's activity will not be stopped.
