Causeni village ancient church to be restored thanks to American help
The Dormition Church in Causeni town – the monument of the 17th century architecture – will be restored soon within the framework of the project launched on Tuesday in the presence of the Moldovan Minister of Culture Monica Babuc and the United States Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Moldova, James D. Pettit, Infotag informs.
The church will be rehabilitated on the money from the Fund of USA Ambassadors for Cultural Heritage Protection. The ambitious job has been entrusted to the Center for Archeological Researches of the Republic of Moldova.
The first stage of the restoration is going to be completed by the fall of 2017.
